Cemetery Restorations

 

Some of the cemeteries in the St. Martins area are no longer in use and have, sadly, been neglected in recent years.  While Society members have been distressed by the deterioration, we have not had the resources to undertake the necessary work to improve things.

 

Fortunately, some area residents are doing something about individual cemeteries near their homes.  They are providing their own labour and spending their own money for materials and equipment.  The Society wants to support these efforts financially by soliciting donations from its members and from the many people across North America who have roots in the village and ancestors buried here.

 

The purpose of this page is to provide you with details and pictures of the individual cemeteries and the improvements that have made by public spirited local residents.
